Delay in processing UK visa applications. 8 September 2009 (08/09/2009)
The Visa Application Centres (VACs) in Riyadh and Jeddah are presently experiencing IT problems resulting in delays in processing visa applications. Work is being undertaken to rectify the problem, but in the meantime please apply in good time before your intended date of travel and allow extra time for your applications to be processed. Saudi visitor and student applicants should allow 5 working days for their visas to be processed, other types of application may take longer. Please also use the internet booking facility to avoid waiting at the VAC: www.vfs-uk-sa.com/
